Do Not Modify Fuel System

TS1343-UN-18MAR92
CAUTION: Do not open high-pressure lines. High-pressure
fluid remaining in fuel lines can cause serious injury. Do not disconnect
or attempt repair of fuel lines, sensors, or any other components
between the high-pressure fuel pump and nozzles on engines with High
Pressure Common Rail (HPCR) fuel system.
Only technicians familiar with this type of system can perform
repairs. (See your John Deere Dealer.)
IMPORTANT: Never steam clean or pour cold water on a warm high
pressure pump. To do so may cause seizure of pump parts. Modification or alteration of the high pressure fuel pump (A), injection
timing, or fuel injectors not recommended by the manufacturer will
terminate the warranty obligation to the purchaser.
In addition, tampering with fuel system which alters emission-related
equipment on engines may result in fines or other penalties, per EPA
regulations or other local emission laws.
Do not attempt to service high pressure pump or fuel injectors
yourself. Special training and tools are required. (See your authorized
servicing dealer or engine distributor.)
