1—4 - Bale Growth Indicators
When baling with the monitor on operating display mode, the
actual bale length (A) is displayed.
During tying process, the actual bale length (A) on the
display is set to 0.00 m (0 in). If the bale weighing
system is installed on the machine, then the bale drop is detected
using the decline of the weight on the weighing platform.
When the bale drop sensor is installed and activated in the
dealer menu (see Operate Baler Application section). The bale growth
is displayed and indicates when a bale falls down from the bale chute
behind the machine.
During field operation, the display shows four different positions
of the bale on the bale chute as follows:
-
When the previous bale has been dropped off and a bale growth
of about 0.25 m (10 in) has been detected, a short bale on the bale
chute is shown.
-
After an extra bale growth of approximately 0.5 m (20 in), a
bale halfway on the bale chute is shown.
-
When the bale is at the end of the bale chute, a spring plate
activates the bale drop sensor and the shape of a full bale is shown
on the bale chute.
-
When the bale is dropped off the bale chute, a bale behind the
bale chute is shown on the screen.
After 0.25 m (10 in) bale growth, the bale growth indicator
(1) is shown again.
