-
Lift pickup to maximum height.
-
Close isolating valve on hydraulic hose at the tractor side.
-
Secure the pickup in the highest position by holding chains
tight in the retainer on each side of the machine.
-
Eject last bale. Clearing bale chute helps to comply with local
roadway and bridge weight restrictions.
Refer to the Serial Number plate for the maximum laden
weight of the machine.
-
Fully lift and lock bale chute.
Bale chute is heavy. To prevent personal injury to
you or others, make sure that bystanders stand clear of chute when
raising.
-
Fold up bale chute (A). Use lever (B) to raise bale chute.
-
Secure bale chute (A) with chains (C) on both sides.
-
Secure chains (C) on both sides with lock pins (D).
-
Remove chain slack by relieving pressure in the hydraulic circuit
of chute lift cylinder.
Make sure that the chains on each side of the bale chute
are tight. The chains are designed to handle all the weight of the
bale chute during transport, not the lift cylinder.
