A - Needle

B - Crank

C - Needle Drive Rod

D - Lock Nut (2 used)

E - Distance, Disk to Roller

To put needles (A) in the top position, proceed as follows:

• Switch on the knotting mechanism.
• Turn flywheel by hand to the right until crank (B) is in the top position and in line with the needle drive rod (C).
• Loosen lock nuts (D)
• Turn the needle drive rod (C) clockwise to decrease or counterclockwise to increase the length of the needle drive rod.
• Check distance (E) between the twine retainer disk and the center of the needle roller as shown.

  Disk to Roller	Distance	120—130 mm (4.72—5.12 in)

• Tighten the lock nuts (D)
• Turn the flywheel till the needle frame is in the rest position.
