C - Bracket
D - Gauge Wheel
E - Tooth
F - Chain
G - Support
1 - Pickup Position
Operating pickup too close to ground causes excessive tooth
breakage.
Adjust pickup working height as follows:
-
Place valve lever (A) to position (1) as shown.
-
Fully raise the pickup with relevant selective control valve
lever.
-
Remove spring pin (B) from the pin.
-
Place the bracket (C) to raise or lower the gauge wheel (D)
at the desired position.
-
Install spring pin (B) on the pin.
-
Lower pickup and check that tip of pickup teeth (E) is about
20—30 mm (0.78—1.18 in.) above the ground.
-
Repeat procedure, if necessary.
In rough or stony conditions, set gauge wheels (D) to their
highest position, then adjust pickup working height using the retaining
chain (F).
Attach the chains (F) at the required working height, on both
sides to the support (G).
