Secure tractor drawbar clevis or wagon hitch with retaining
strap or compressor rod (see Tractor Operator’s Manual). In some countries,
it is mandatory to attach a safety chain between baler and tractor
drawbar structure. Always comply with your local road regulations.
On tractor drawbar, do not use hitch pin with a diameter
larger than 40 mm (1-5/8 in) or damage may occur. Make
sure that tractor and baler drawbars are correctly adjusted (see Preparing
the Tractor and Preparing the Baler sections).

On tractor with drawbar, remove hitch pin and retaining strap.

On tractor with wagon hitch, release compressor rod.
Back tractor up to baler hitch eye, aligning baler tongue with
drawbar or wagon hitch.

Place transmission in PARK and set parking brake.

Connect hydraulic hose leading to valve (A) to relevant tractor
selective control valve.

Open valve (B) at end of hose at tractor side.

Place valve lever (C) to jackstand position (1) as shown.

Raise or lower jackstand until tractor drawbar is aligned with
baler tongue to attach baler. Verify that machine is level. (See Adjust
Tractor Drawbar in Prepare the Tractor section and Adjust Baler Drawbar
in Prepare the Baler section.)

Once baler is attached to tractor, fully raise jackstand.

Place valve lever (A) in pickup position (1) as shown.

Remove quick lock pin (B) from jackstand pin (C).

Remove jackstand pin (C).

Fold up jackstand (D) completely.

Install jackstand pin (C) in upper storing hole (E).

Secure jackstand pin (C) with quick lock pin (B).
-
Verify height of tractor drawbar.
