Attach emergency brake tether rope to tractor structure before operating baler.

Not applicable on machines with air brakes.

If unhitching occurs during field operation or road transport, rope is pulled tight removing spring pin from brake valve. Pressure is then applied to brake system and brakes activate.

Reset emergency brake and charge accumulator. (See Resetting Emergency Brake—If Equipped in Service section.)

Attach tether rope (A) from valve (B) to a fixed point on tractor.
