Inspect Knives

CAUTION: Replace cracked, broken, or distorted knives immediately. Failure to do so leads to loss of knife and bolt, or damage cutterbar during operation.

IMPORTANT: Replace knives as a set for each disk. If one knife is worn, replace both knives so disk is balanced.

Check knives before operating machine. Operator safety and mowing quality depend on careful inspection of knives.

Uneven ground and knives striking against obstacles causes cracks and distortion of knives. Replace damaged knives immediately.
