Check for Poor Net Cut-Off (Left-Hand Side of Baler)
If the counterknife angle does not contact the knife on the
left-hand side or the cut is poor on the left-hand side, contact can
be present between the idler sheave bolt head and the net pan bolt
head or strap.

Open the net wrap cover.

Engage the brake lever.

Turn the tractor ignition key to the ON position.

To move the counterknife angle to the down position, select
the Net Actuator Retract softkey (A).

To avoid personal injury from unexpected knife movement,
disconnect the net wrap actuator wire connector or power plug when
performing adjustment or working in the area.

A - Wire Harness Connector
Turn the tractor ignition key to the OFF position and remove
key. Disconnect the ISOBUS baler plug from the tractor ISO socket
or disconnect the net actuator wire harness connector (A).

E - Arm
If there is contact between the idler sheave bolt head (A)
and the net pan bolt head (B) or strap:

Grind the net pan bolt head (B) or grind a chamfer at the front
edge of the net pan strap (C). (See your John Deere dealer or qualified
service provider.)

Bend arm (E) out and remove the washer between the idler sheave
and the arm if necessary to align idler sheave (D) with the v-belt.
