Select Maximum Bale Size Mode

The maximum bale size mode can be engaged to override a smaller bale diameter setting temporarily. This mode is typically used to finish a field when the crop left to bale is too much for the current bale size but not enough for an additional bale.

To engage the maximum bale size mode, select the Maximum Bale Size softkey on the baler application main page.

The maximum bale size in this mode is:

  • 182.9 cm (72 in) for balers using net or twine wrapping modes.
  • 172.7 cm (68 in) for balers using the B-Wrap wrapping mode.

If the actual bale diameter reaches the maximum size available, the baler starts to wrap automatically.

If the final actual bale diameter is less than the maximum size available, the operator must select the net or twine wrap start softkey to start the wrapping cycle.

The baler returns to the preset bale diameter setting after wrapping is completed on this one bale.
