Manual Start of Wrapping Cycle

Bale wrapping, with either twine, net, or B-Wrap, starts automatically when the preset target bale diameter is reached.

The operator can start the wrapping process at bale diameters less than the target diameter at any time during the baling process. Wrapping a bale that is smaller than normal can be necessary when finishing a field.

To start the wrapping process manually:

  1. Stop the forward motion of the tractor.

    Only the softkey applicable to the currently selected wrap mode appears on the main page.

    Select the applicable softkey on the baler application main page to begin the wrapping cycle.



  3. The wrap process symbol on the baler application main page indicates that the net or twine actuator is moving.

  4. When the wrapping cycle is completed, the bale eject symbol is displayed and the monitor beeps three times.

  5. Open the rear gate of the baler using the tractor selective control valve (SCV) lever to unload the bale.

  6. The rear gate position symbol indicates the gate position. After the bale is ejected, pull the tractor and baler forward, then close the gate.

  7. This selection is used to control only one cycle of wrapping. The baler resumes operation in the automatic wrapping mode when the next bale is made.
