Stay
out of the path of twine arms at all times when power to twine arms
is ON.
Twine knife has two sharp cutting edges. Be careful when working
around the knife.
The 460R is illustrated for the following procedure. On
the 560R, the actuator is installed on the right-hand side.
If the twine actuator has been removed or replaced, or the twine
cutter tension adjustment cannot be made by moving washers on the
cutter strap, perform the following adjustments.

Adjust cutter strap (A) by placing two washers in the front
of the contact tab (B) and four washers behind the contact tab. Make
sure that the twine arm stop (C) is in the down position.

start the tractor engine.

Select the twine Actuator Retract softkey (A) on the test
output page. Move the twine arm (E) forward until it lightly contacts
the tab (C) and strap (D).

Turn the tractor ignition key to the OFF position and remove
key.

Loosen nut (B). Adjust the tab (C) to obtain distance (F) between
the bottom edge of the tab and the bottom side of strap (D) according
to specifications. Keep the tab vertical and tighten the nut.

the twine arms forward.

Turn the tractor ignition key to the OFF position and remove
key.

Check the overlap distance (C). The front twine arm (D) must
pass under tab (B). If necessary, adjust the tab. Light contact between
the tab and the front twine arm is acceptable.

Pull cutter strap (A) gently forward until knife (C) contacts
the hex anvil. Remove slack, but do not deform the cutter strap.

until the correct distance is obtained.
