Check Front Sheet to Rubber Roll Clearance

1. Open the net wrap cover. Ensure that the brake lever is engaged.

2. Remove net material.

3. Turn the tractor key to the ON position. Do not start the tractor engine.

   A - Actuator Extend Softkey

   Select the Net Actuator Extend softkey (A) to return the counterknife to the up position.

8. To avoid personal injury from unexpected knife movement, disconnect the net wrap actuator wire connector or power plug when performing adjustment or working in the area.

   A - Wire Harness Connector

   Turn the tractor ignition key to the OFF position and remove key. Disconnect the ISOBUS baler plug from the tractor ISO socket or disconnect the plug at the net wrap wire harness connector (A).

   B - Rubber Roll

   Check the distance between the front sheet (A) and entire length of rubber roll (B) with drill bits.

   Front Sheet to Rubber Roll	Distance	3—6 mm (0.12—0.24 in)

10. If the clearance is not within specification, bend the front sheet to obtain 3—6 mm (0.12—0.24 in) clearance. (See your John Deere dealer or qualified service provider.)

11. When completed, plug the ISOBUS plug back into the tractor ISO socket. Reconnect the plug at the net wrap wire harness.
