Avoid injury from entanglement in moving rolls. Disengage
PTO, shut off the tractor engine, and disconnect monitor-controller
power plug from the tractor convenience outlet before servicing.
Edge-to-edge net wrap is available, but requires spacer
plugs in end of roll and adjustments made to net wrap attachment.
(See Adjust Net Wrap Stretch in Service—Net Wrap section.)

A - Net Wrap
B - Net Wrap Roll
C - Rubber Roll
D - Steel Roll
E - Distance, 1/2 to 1 inch Net Wrap Extension
Net wrap must have one large stripe toward the right-hand
side of machine. Thread net wrap (A), as illustrated, around the net
wrap roll (B) and rubber roll (C).
-
Extend net wrap (A) no more than 1/2—1 in (E) between rubber
roll (C) and steel roll (D).
Maximum length is 1 inch. Any longer can cause net to
stick to the rolls.
-
Do not thread more than 25 mm (1 in) of the loop
between the two rolls or it can cause material to wrap around the
rolls.
Avoid knife contact with rubber roll. Any knife cuts
in the rubber roll covering can result in more frequent wrapping around
the rolls and can require roll replacement.
If net wrap is not being pulled off front face of roll,
net roll has been installed backwards. (See Step 1 for correct installation.)
