Operation of Pickup Slip Clutch (MegaWide™ Plus Pickup)

The following procedure is not used on a 450M and 550M Baler with a Regular pickup.

When the pickup is plugged with too much crop or a foreign object, the pickup clutch slips. The purpose of the slip clutch is to prevent damage to the baler pickup.

• Slip clutch only reengages if the PTO is stopped or tractor rpm is reduced to idle speed.
• Disengage PTO, shut off tractor, and remove key. Remove crop or foreign object.

Excessive clutch slipping, reduces clutch life.
