Install Wheel Spindles on 450M and 550M Balers with MegaWide™ Plus Pickup and 14L x 16.1 Tires

Wheel spindles and tires are factory installed in the normal position on 450M and 550M balers with the MegaWide™ Plus pickup.

Wheel spindle position controls baler height and feeding capacity.

Normal position shown is used for most baling conditions. For all other crop conditions, see Wheel Spindle Positions in Preparing the Baler section.

  1. When raising baler with a jack or hoist, place a jackstand or equivalent support under the baler frame (A) before installing spindles and tires. Do not place the jackstand under the MegaWide™ Plus pickup frame.
