Install Fire Extinguisher—450M and 550M

A 9.5 L (2-1/2 gal) pressurized-water fire extinguisher can be mounted in the holes that are provided on the baler. (See your John Deere dealer or qualified service provider.)

    A - Bracket

    B - Frame Bracket

    C - Cap Screw and Nut (4 each used)

    Install bracket (A) to the frame bracket (B) using cap screws and nuts (C).


  2. If the baler is subjected to cold weather, a nonflammable antifreeze solution must be used to prevent damage to extinguisher.

    A - Fire Extinguisher

    Fill, pressurize, and test the fire extinguisher.


  3. Secure the fire extinguisher (A) to the bracket.
