First 50 Hours

Gear Case

1. Driveline is removed for illustration purposes.

   Removing Drain Plug

   Check level of lubricant with dipstick. Lubricant must fall between grooves on dipstick.

2. Refill as necessary using SAE 85-140 API GL-5 gear lubricant. Drain and refill gear case once each season.

   Gear Case	Capacity	1.2 L (1.25 qt)

   Do not over-fill gear case. Overheating and oil leakage can occur.

3. Drain and refill gear case after the first 50 hours.

4. Tighten dipstick to specification.

   Dipstick	Torque	29 ± 3 N·m (21 ± 2 lb·ft)

T-Gear Case (HC2 only)

   A - Breather-Fill Plug

   B - Level Plug

   C - Drain Plug

   Check the lubricant level at plug (B).

2. Remove the drain plug (C) if necessary.

3. Remove the breather-fill plug (A).

4. Refill as necessary using SAE 85-140 API GL-5 gear lubricant. Drain and refill gear case once each season.

   T Gear Case (HC2)	Capacity	1.35 L (1.42 qt)

5. Install plug (A) and tighten to specification.

   Breather-Fill Plug	Torque	30 N•m (22 lb·ft)
