A - EXTEND Key

B - RETRACT Key

C - WRAP Key

To start an automatic twine or net application cycle before the bale reaches the preset diameter, press and release the Wrap key (C).

Once started, the bale wrapping cycle uses current settings stored in the monitor-controller memory (number of wraps, end wraps, and end wrap distance). This feature is useful to apply either twine or net to an undersized bale. Monitor-controller resumes fully automatic operation on next bale.

To operate the twine actuator only, the EXTEND (A) and RETRACT (B) keys are used. Pressing either key during an automatic twine or net application cycle cancels the cycle and moves the actuator as desired.

Twine end wrap spacing distance is overridden when Extend or Retract keys are used.

For example, if the right-hand end wrap distance is set at 5 in (13 cm) and the Extend key is pressed, the twine arm does not stop at the 5 in (13 cm) setting. It either contacts the right-hand side sheet, or the actuator is fully extended.

Bale can be finished using the EXTEND (A) or RETRACT (B) keys, or by pressing the Wrap key (C) to start an automatic wrap cycle.

When using EXTEND (A) and RETRACT (B) keys, the bale counter does not register additional bales.
