Install Gauge Wheels (MegaWide™ Plus Pickup and MegaWide™ HC2 Pickup)

   B - Cap Screw

   C - Bushing or Spacer

   D - Flange Nut

   E - Washer (2 used)

   Silage Special balers: Gauge wheels are shipped in the surface wrap unit. Open surface wrap cover unit door and remove gauge wheels from shipping location.

   Non-Silage Special balers: Gauge wheels are shipped between main frame crossbeam and belts. Remove gauge wheel from the shipping location.

2. Assemble the wheel and gauge arm in the following manner:

   • Stand wheel (A) upright. Long hub points toward baler.
   • Insert bushing or spacer (C) inside wheel bearings.
   • Place a washers (E) on each side of wheel.
   • Insert cap screw (B) through the washers, wheel (A) and gauge wheel arm so threads are facing towards baler.
   • Place flange nut (D) on the cap screw (B).
   
   

3. Tighten cap screw and nut, ensure that wheel rotates freely.

4. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the opposite side.

5. Adjust gauge wheels. (See Adjust Gauge Wheels in the Final Inspection and Adjustments section.)
