Check for Looped or Torn Net Material

Net material looped above the counterknife angle after cut off can get pinched between the front sheet and rubber roll when counterknife angle is raised.

Looping net material is caused from brake not quickly stopping roll of net material.

Torn net material is caused from the brake stopping the roll to quickly.

    Make a bale and wrap.

  2. Shut off engine and remove ignition key.

  3. Open actuator door.

  4. Perform visual check from the right-hand side of baler.

    • If net material is against the steel roll as shown, surface wrap must be performing acceptably.
    • If net material (A) is looped over the counterknife angle (B), brake is coming on too late. (See Check and Adjust Net Wrap Feed Roll Brake in this section).
