A - Aluminum Tape

Controls the position of bale when ejecting.

  • This is the seam or overlap portion of the B-Wrap material.
  • Seam must always be on the bottom of the bale or overlap is in a position to keep water from running into the bale.
  • Aluminum tape (A) must be on the left-hand side and back side of bale when facing rear of baler.

Enter value into the monitor-controller on the setup for the B-Wrap.

  • Default value is 182 with a minimum of 58 and maximum of 240 for the BaleTrak™ Pro.
  • Default value is 101 with a minimum of 31 and maximum of 132 for the precutter with the BaleTrak™ Plus monitor. Channel 035 must have the value setting higher than Channel 034.
  • Changing the value either increases (PLUS key) the length of the tail or decreases (MINUS key) the tail by approximately 228 mm (9 in) for Channel 034.

Disengage bale push bar for B-Wrap operation.

  • Bale push bar affects seam location upon bale ejection and can damage B-Wrap material.

With the B-Wrap sensor tied into the oversize bale sensor, false bale oversize alarms can occur. If a false oversize bale alarm occurs, with the PTO off, examine the B-Wrap sensor on the bottom of the gate for the following:

  1. A belt lace is stopped above the sensor. Move the belt lacing past the sensor by turning on the PTO briefly.
  2. A foreign metal object is caught on or around the sensor. Remove the foreign material and verify that the error does not reoccur.
