Predelivery
After the baler has been completely set up, inspect it to be
sure it is in good running condition before delivering it to the customer.
The following checklist is a reminder of important points to inspect.
Check off each item as it is found satisfactory after proper adjustment
has been made.
□ Baler has been assembled correctly.
□ Check hydraulic hose and connections for oil leaks.
□ Check monitor. Make sure communication signal is received
when monitor it turned on.
□ Hydraulic cylinders operate properly.
□ Lower pickup and cycle twine arms to check for proper function.
□ Gate opens and closes freely.
□ Belt tracking is satisfactory.
□ Machine lubricated and gear case level checked. (See Lubrication
and Maintenance section.)
□ Drive chains have been adjusted correctly and lubricated.
□ Warning lights are operating correctly.
□ Check that shipping cover on SMV sign has been removed and
sign is properly displayed.
□ All hardware tight.
□ Tire pressures checked.
□ Decals intact and legible.
□ Safety chain is attached.
□ Check operating functions of any optional equipment installed.
□ If equipped, make sure fire extinguisher is filled and pressurized.
