Selecting Tractor PTO Speed
Never operate baler equipped for 540 rpm PTO drive
with a tractor equipped for 1000 rpm PTO. Always run tractor
at rated, or below, PTO speed. Overspeed causes damage to drive system.
Tractor must be equipped with a 540 rpm PTO shaft and have a
minimum output of 41.2 kW (55 hp.).
Refer to your tractor operator's manual to change PTO stub shaft,
if necessary.
