Adjusting Initial Length of Pickup Drive Belt Idler Spring

   A - Access Panel

   Remove access panel (A).

2. If spring assembly has been removed, the initial length of spring must be adjusted before adjusting the belt idler.

   A - Nut

   B - Distance

   C - Jam Nut

   Adjust nut (A) until distance (B) is within specifications.

   Drive Belt Idler Spring	Initial Length	215 mm (8-1/2 in.)

3. Tighten jam nut (C) against nut (A).

4. Install spring assembly on baler.

5. Adjust pickup drive belt idler. (See ADJUSTING PICKUP DRIVE BELT IDLER in this section.)
