Twine Arm Calibration Procedure (Channel 029)

   A - COUNTER Key

   D - Wood Block

   E - Twine Arm

   F - EXTEND Key

   G - TWINE/NET key

   Turn tractor key to ON position. Turn monitor-controller ON.

2. Briefly press TWINE/NET key (G), ensure monitor-controller is in TWINE mode (indicator will briefly show on screen).

3. Turn monitor-controller OFF.

4. Press and hold COUNTER key while turning monitor ON.

5. Continue to hold COUNTER key (A) and press PLUS key (B) until CH029 appears in digital display. Release both keys.

6. Press and hold RETRACT key (C) until twine actuator fully retracts and display reads zero.

7. 89 mm equals 3—1/2 in., which is standard dimension for most 4 in. wide lumber such as a 2 x 4 or 4 x 4.

   Place an 89 mm (3—1/2 in.) wood block (D) on right side of bale chamber so that the twine arm (E) will contact the wood block when actuator is extended.

8. Press EXTEND key (F), extend actuator until it stalls by contacting wood block (D).

9. Enter value displayed in to CH029 by pressing PLUS and MINUS keys together and listening for two confirming beeps.

10. Press RETRACT key (C) to release and remove wood block.
