A - Spring Coils

B - Nut

C - Chain

If there is no separation between spring coils (A), remove one link from chain (C).

To remove chain link:

  1. Open left-hand door.

  2. Loosen nut (B) on eyebolt to release chain tension.

  3. Remove one link from chain.

  4. Tighten nut (B).

  5. Check spring coils for separation. Repeat procedure as necessary.
