Adjusting Upper Roll Drive Chain
(S.N. 370001—)

Open left-hand side door.

If spring dimension (A) from hook-to-hook is not within specification perform the following:

Hook-to-Hook	Distance	235—305 mm (9-1/4—12 in.)

1.

   A - Dimension

   B - Chain

   C - Nut

   Loosen nut (C) to release chain tension.

2. Separate chain (B) at master link.

   • If dimension (A) is less than specified, remove one link from chain.
   • If dimension (A) is more than specified, add one chain link.
   
   

3. Install master link in chain (B).

4. Hold eyebolt from turning and tighten nut (C) against angle.

5. Check to see spring dimension (A) is within specification. Repeat procedure as necessary.

6. Close left-hand side door.
