Install Net Wrap Actuator

1. 
   E48087-UN-12JUN00

   A - Washer, 13 x 25 x 3 mm

   B - Washers, 13 x 25 x 3 mm (2 used)

   C - Cotter Pin, 4 x 25 mm

   Install base end of actuator (motor down) on the right-hand side of the gate with one crowned pin. Insert pin through the inside hole in actuator support, through one 13 x 25 x 3 mm washer (A), actuator, and second hole in support.

2. Install two 13 x 25 x 3 mm washers (B) and 4 x 25 mm cotter pin (C).

   Install link (A) over the rod end of the actuator as shown. Insert one crowned pin from the top through link and actuator rod.

4. Install 13 x 25 x 3 mm washer and 4 x 25 mm cotter pin.

5. Connect wire harness (B) to actuator. Fasten connector and harness to actuator motor with a tie strap.

6. Shut actuator door.

7. After installing actuator, turn monitor-controller ON. To return the counterknife arms to the home position, press the WRAP key. Turn monitor-controller off to cancel STOP alarm. If this procedure is not followed, net will be fed continuously during the next bale.

   Connect monitor-controller power plug to the power source. Turn tractor key to ON position. Do not start tractor engine. Turn monitor-controller ON.

   With channel 018 on monitor, cycle actuator using extend or retract key so actuator moves just half way up or down, so belt is loose.

9. Temporarily move the V-belt from the top of idler pulley to underside of idler pulley.

10. Cycle actuator several times using WRAP key. To make sure that the actuator fully extends and fully retracts, observe the actuator. If not, check for any binding at mounting pins and washers, clean electrical connections, and check for low tractor voltage. There must be a minimum of 9.7 V with the tractor engine running and the net actuator installed.

11. Place monitor on channel 018. Use extend or retract key and return actuator to approximately half way up or down.

12. Move V-belt to top of idler pulley.

13. Using extend or retract key, retract the actuator so idler pulley does not have pressure on the belt.

14. Turn monitor-controller OFF. Turn tractor key to OFF position. Remove key.

15. Check and adjust the net wrap V-belt idler tension. (See Check And Adjust Net Wrap V-Belt Idler Tension in this section.)

16. Check and adjust feed roll brake (See Check And Adjust Net Wrap Feed Roll Brake in this section.)
