Cleaning Mower Deck

1. NOTE: Procedure shown on 42 in. (107 cm) deck. 36 in. (92 cm) deck procedure similar.

   Park machine safely. (See Parking Safely in SAFETY section.)

   After each use inspect the top of the mower deck and underside of machine (A). Remove grass and debris as necessary.

3. NOTE: Any time shields (B) are removed, clean all debris from the top surface of the mower deck and under all sheaves before shield installation.

   For additional cleaning, remove machine shields (B) and clean top of deck and around all sheaves. (See “Removing and Installing Machine Shields” in this section.)
