Using Grass Collector

GXAL42107-UN-04MAR13
This machine is equipped with an indicator light (A) and audible
warning alarm (B) to notify the operator when the grass collection
hopper becomes full during mowing operation. When the light illuminates
and the alarm sounds:
-
Push mower engagement switch (C) or pull back lever (E) (115R)
to stop mower blades.
-
CAUTION: Do not attempt to unplug attachment with machine running.
-
Rotating blades are dangerous. Shut off the engine and remove
the key before getting off the seat to inspect the machine and attachment.
-
Thrown objects can cause serious injury. Make sure all machine
parts are stopped before raising hopper top or removing chutes.
NOTE: Mower engagement operation will stop if the grass collector
is full. Do not engage mower until grass collector has been emptied.
Drive to dumping location, stop tractor and lock the park brake.
-

Pull handle (D) upward (E) and then forward and down (F)
to open grass collector.
-
Drive forward away from grass pile to empty grass clippings.
-
Push rearward on handle until collector locks in the closed
position. Push down on handle to place in lowered position.
If the hopper and chute become routinely plugged, a sensor switch
in the collection hopper may require adjustment. (See Adjusting Grass
Collector Full Sensor in the OPERATING section).
