Removing and Installing Machine Shields

Remove and Install Machine Shields - X115R & X135R

1. Park machine safely. (See Parking Safely in SAFETY section.)

2. NOTE: Any time shields are removed, clean all debris from the top surface of the mower deck and under all sheaves before shield installation.

   Right Side Shield

   Left Side Shield

   On right side of machine, remove screws (A), then remove shield (B).

3. On left side of machine, remove screws (A), then remove shield (C).

4. To install, place shields onto machine tabs and secure with screws.

   Right Side Shield

   On left side of machine, remove screws (A), then remove shield (B).

3. On right side of machine, remove screws (A), then remove shield (C).

4. To install, place shields onto machine tabs and secure with screws.

Remove and Install Engine Drive Sheave Shield

Front Shield

1. Remove the screws (A) and detach left side shield (B).

2. Remove the screws (C) and detach right side shield (D).

3. Remove the screw (E) and detach frontside shield (F). Take care, do not damage the parts.

4. Check the part for any damage and if necessary replace the required parts.

5. For install, assemble the frontside shield (F) to exact position as shown with screw (E).

6. Install right side shield (D) and tighten the screw (C).

7. Install left side shield (B) and tighten the screw (A). Tighten the screws as per specification.
