Adjusting Chopper Drive Belt Idlers

CAUTION: Shut off engine, set park brake and remove key.

The chopper belt idlers are located on the left-hand side of the combine above the chopper.

The spring tensioning assembly must be in the drive engaged position with quick-lock pin located at hole (A).

Loosen locking nut (B).

Tighten nut (C) until washer (D) aligns with the end of gauge (E). Tighten locking nut.
