Replacing Feed Accelerator Belt

Remove tension on the front jackshaft belt idler (A) and the shoe, fan and conveyor auger belt idler (B).

Remove both belts from countershaft sheaves to allow removal of feed accelerator belt.

Remove belt tension from accelerator belt by pushing lever (A) up and out from notch in bracket (B).

Remove six cap screws (A) and sheave (B).

Remove feed accelerator belt (C).

Install new belt.

Install sheave and secure with six cap screws.

Push lever up and into notch in bracket. Adjust belt idler tension spring to the gauge.

Install shoe, fan and conveyor auger belt and front jackshaft belt. Adjust tension rod for each belt until washer aligns with end of gauge.
