Installing and Timing Unloading Auger at Gear Case

Follow removal steps in reverse order to install auger.

CAUTION: Shut off engine, set park brake and remove key.

The approximate weight of the outer auger tube assembly is 181 kg (400 lb).

Specification

Spacer must be on drive shaft at gearcase before sliding auger on shaft.

Time vertical auger (A) with horizontal auger (B). The ends of the flights (C) should be approximately 90 degrees apart as shown. Augers will be damaged if not timed correctly.
