1. Primary Countershaft Gear Case Oil. Remove cap (A) to drain gear case. Refill at dipstick (B) as needed.

2. Feeder House Reverser Gear Case. Raise feeder house and lower safety stop. Drain at plug (C) and

refill at hole (B). Check with feeder house raised. Oil level must show on knurled part of dipstick.

3. Hydraulic/Hydrostatic Reservoir. Drain at plug (A). Clean screen and cap (F) and refill. Oil must show

above lower sight glass (H) and below top sight glass (G).

1. STS Two Speed Drive. Remove protective cap (A) and attach drain hose to drain valve (B). Open valve to drain. Refill at dipstick (C) as needed.

2. Engine PTO gear Case Oil. Remove plugs (D) to drain. Refill at dipstick (E).

1. Transmission. Slide tube (A) out of block (B). Remove block to drain. Remove check plug (C) and refill to within 12 mm (1/2 in.) of hole.

2. Final Drives (both sides). Remove drain plug (D) to drain. Remove Fill plug (E) to refill until within 12 mm (1/2 in.) of bottom of check hole (F).

3. Engine Valve Back Lash. After every 2000 hours of operation have engine valve back lash checked and adjusted if necessary, by your John Deere dealer.
