Belt Drives Adjustment - First 50 Hours

CAUTION: Never check or adjust belt drives with engine running. Always stop the engine, remove the key and set the park brake.

Check all spring loaded belt idler adjustments after the first 50 hours of operation. Most belt stretch will occur during the first hours of service.

After initial adjustments, check belt adjustment as required. Spring tension should be maintained within 3 mm (1/8 in.) of the gauge setting.
