Accumulator AdjustmentA full open accumulator valve (A) position is generally needed for headers that require protection when floating on the ground. The first valve position for headers that do not require ground float protection is one turn open. If lift shock is still too much, the valve is further opened in half turns to the point that lift shock and response are satisfactory. Refer to the decal on the combine for more information.
