Transporting Combine on a Trailer
CAUTION:
Avoid collisions with other roadway users. Before transporting on a public roadway check and follow local regulations regarding the use of lights, flags, over-width signs, pilot vehicles and other requirements for wide loads.
1.
Empty grain tank, remove header and remove outside dual wheels (if equipped).
2.
To reduce overall height, swing unloading auger back, fold down grain tank extensions (A) (if equipped).
3.
Remove quick-lock pin (B) and sample trough.
4.
Release clamps (C) and lower auger.
5.
Remove outside dual wheels (if equipped).
6.
Drive combine on trailer and put multi-function (hydro) handle in neutral.
7.
Stop engine, remove key and set parking brake.
