IMPORTANT: Inspect seat belt and mounting hardware on your machine at least once a year. If seat belt system, including the mounting hardware, buckle, belt or retractor, shows any sign of damage such as cuts, fraying , extreme or unusual wear, discoloration, abrasion the entire seat belt should be replaced immediately. For your safety, replace the seat belt system with replacement parts approved for your machine. See your John Deere dealer.

1. Inspect seat belt.

2. Left-Hand Lube Bank -

Grease two fittings:

• Cylinder Shaft Bearing
• Beater Shaft Bearing

3. Secondary Countershaft.

4. Reel Drive Sheave Bearing.

5. Inspect fire extinguisher by following the maintenance instructions on the fire extinguisher label. Recharge or replace as necessary.
