Detaching Row-Crop Head from Sidehill 6620 Combines (600001-610000)
Sound horn, start engine and raise row-crop head all the way up. Shut off engine and remove key.
Disconnect chain (A) and lower safety stop (B) on cylinder (C).

(Both Sides) Loosen cap screw (B) on inner end and remove cap screw (A). Then disconnect telescoping drive shaft at feeder house (shafts stay with header).

Disconnect DIAL-A-MATIC
harness if equipped.
(Both Sides) Slide and pivot stop bolt (A) down to let lock pin (B) unlock row-crop head.
Raise safety stop and hook on chain.
Sound horn, start engine and lower feeder house until row-crop head is on ground and pivot blocks are free.
Drive rearward slowly until feeder house is clear of row-crop head. Shut off engine, set parking brake and remove key.

Disconnect both variable feeder house hoses at couplers (A) on left side of feeder house only if changing to a platform.

IMPORTANT:
Hoses must be connected when using a row-crop header. Connect combine pressure hose to return hose as shown. If connection is not made, hydraulic system can be damaged by overheating from constant operation of relief valve. To prevent hose damage, store hoses as shown.
