Adjust point height clearance to prevent points from scooping dirt into gathering belts.

In standing soybeans, adjust gatherer point height for approximately 51 mm (2-in.) clearance from ground when skid shoe is on the ground. In downed crop conditions, adjust point height for 13 to 25 mm (1/2 to 1-in.) clearance from ground.

Adjust all gatherer points level with one another. On uneven terrain and with longer heads, it is often desirable to carry the end points slightly higher than others.
