Adjusting Row Unit Float Spring TensionAdjust row unit springs to existing ground conditions to achieve minimum ground pressure on skid shoes. Raise row-crop head to maximum height and lower hydraulic cylinder stop. Loosen lock nut (A). Turn adjusting bolt (B) until row unit begins to raise from lower stop or can be pushed upward easily. Row unit must return freely to lower stop. Tighten lock nut. Repeat for each row unit. |
