Adjusting Auger Forward and Rearward

A 3 mm (1/8-in.) clearance between the auger flights and the auger stripper is required for most crops and conditions.

Loosen nut (A) and move auger drive chain tightener up.

Loosen nuts (B), (C), and (D). Position auger (on both sides) for correct stripper clearance.

Tighten nuts (B), (C) and (D).

Check auger height position and adjust if necessary.

Adjust auger drive chain tightener so chain will operate without climbing or jumping sprockets.

Tighten nut (A).

Rotate auger by hand to see that auger fingers and flighting clear bottom and strippers.
