Auger Slip Clutch

All row-crop heads are equipped with an auger slip clutch (C) located on the drive shaft on the right-hand side of the header.

To access the auger slip clutch remove three cap screws (A) and cover (B).

When replacing slip clutch springs or jaws, the four bolts used to compress the spring must be tight. Tighten nuts in the auger clutch to specification.

Specification

A 24H1571 1-25/32 x 2-7/8 x .120 in. washer can be added between the spring and the clutch carrier to increase torque capacity of clutch. Add as required to a maximum of two washers.
