Transport Safely

Whenever possible avoid transporting on public roadways with the header attached to the combine. Instead, tow the header on a trailer or haul on a truck.

If the combine must be transported with the header attached:

• Make sure that the flashing warning lights on the header are operating and the reflective material is clean and visible.
• The use of a spotter or pilot vehicle is recommended on busy, narrow or hilly roads and when crossing bridges.
• Drive at a speed that is safe for conditions.
