Cutting height should be set to cut off the heads and not cut any more of the stalk than necessary. It may be necessary to retract the tilt adjustment to reduce the angle/slope of the side belts. This will minimize the potential for cut heads to roll forward. Adjust the reel low and rearward as much as possible to assist moving the cut heads onto the belts.
