Lower platform until cutterbar cuts below the lowest grain heads or pods. For maximum combine efficiency, take in only as much crop material as necessary to get all the desired grain. Minimize reel interaction with the crop, which could increase shatter loss. Nominal tilt adjuster length of 493 mm (19 1/2 in.) is recommended. Adjust air bag pressure in the gauge wheel supports as needed to change the ground following characteristics.
