Adjusting Minimum Reel Height and Leveling Reel
IMPORTANT:
Pickup Reel - A 38 mm (1-1/2 in.) minimum clearance between the tips of the reel fingers and cutterbar must be maintained. Clearances less than 38 mm (1-1/2 in.) will result in cut off reel fingers.
Slat Reel- Keep 38 mm (1-1/2 in.) minimum clearance between slats and cutterbar. Clearances less than 38 mm (1-1/2 in.) can result in damage to reel slat.
Steel Tine Reel - A 38 mm (1-1/2 in.) minimum clearance between the tips of the reel fingers and the cutterbar must be maintained. Clearances less than 38 mm 91-1/2 in.) can result in bent reel fingers and cutterbar damage.
NOTE:
Adjust minimum reel height with lift cylinders fully retracted and fore/aft cylinders positioned so reel fingers are as close as possible to knife.

Loosen jam nut (A).

Use a wrench on flat spots (B) of the cylinder rod to raise and lower the reel. Insure both ends of reel are set equally.
3.
Tighten jam nut.
