Preparing Platform for Field Operation (If Equipped with Slow Speed Integral Transport System)

Attach combine to platform (see Attaching and Detaching section).

Raise platform completely and lower feeder house safety stop (A) onto hydraulic cylinder rod.

Remove jack (A) from hitch and place in storage bracket (B) on the rear of the top beam, retain with spring clip (C).

Pull pin (A) rearward and up to catch bracket (B).

Remove spring clip (A) and pin (B).

Move hitch tube (C) to field position by pushing in and up aligning bores of pin holes (D) and (E).

Retain with pin and spring clip.

Store tow chain (A) under back side of platform and hook into storage bracket (B).

Stow electrical cable in storage position (C).

Remove spring clips (A) from pin (B) and (C). Remove pins.

Slide wheel and hub assembly from transport frame.

Install gauge wheel (A) into left gauge wheel frame (B) and retain with pin (C) and previously removed spring clip.

Remove spring clip (A) and pin (B).

Remove gauge wheel from transport frame.

Install gauge wheel (A) into right gauge wheel frame (B), retain with pin (C) and previously removed spring clip.

Disengage pins (A) from frame brackets.

Swing transport frame assembly (B) under platform.

Rotate casting (C) 180° and lift back up on other side.

Attach transport frame assembly (C) to bracket with pins (A). Make sure pins are fully engaged in brackets.

Install pin (B) back into original hole and retain with previously removed spring clip.

(BOTH SIDES): Remove lockout chain (A) from bracket (B) and retain on storage hook (C) as shown.

Raise feeder house safety stop and lower platform down on gauge wheels.

(BOTH SIDES): Remove spring clip (B) and pin (A) from lock-out (shown) and install in storage position (C).

Remove right-hand end cover and quick lock pins (A) (see End Cover Removal Section in this manual).

Move lights (B) to field position and retain with quick lock pins.

Move SMV sign (C) to field position.

Lower divider.

Install end cover.
